Don Pringle has been working in the hardwood timber and lumber industry for 30 years.  He started after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh and working for the Department of Defense in Washington DC. After returning to Pennsylvania he began logging and selling logs as a business.  It grew and evolved from a simple operation to what it is today..  He began with a small log yard in Grove City Pennsylvania that grew to selling over 3 million board feet of logs being sold yearly worldwide.  In 2005 he began the partnership, Penn Forest Products Unlimited, LLC and has lasted through many market turns.  The business has evolved from log sales and exporting to green lumber production and now kiln dried sales.  As the business progresses it evolves constantly.

Forestry Management
Penn Forest Products helps landowners achieve their environmental, social, and economic goals while preserving the health of the ecosystem including wildlife, water, soil, and the forest itself. Short term and long-term goals of each landowner are taken into consideration before timber harvesting begins. This is done through a selective harvest by clearing decayed and fully matured hardwood timber. It is very important that a forester be a part of the decision-making process when attempting to achieve these goals and ensure the integrity of the property and so that their is proper regrowth for future use and or harvest.
